The Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) has been busy in recent months developing a groundbreaking provider directory utility (PDU) for California with the support of Blue Shield of California and industry leaders across the state. The PDU will offer a single, centralized, cloud-based platform for healthcare providers and health plans to update their provider data, leading to improved accuracy and consistency, and ultimately helping consumers choose a health plan. The PDU aims to simplify the process for providers to update their rosters and contact information, reducing the overall workload and administrative costs and making it easier to meet compliance requirements. At this session, hear about early findings and lessons learned during the PDU soft launch as well as IHA’s plans for the broader PDU roll-out across California.
IHA’s breakout session at CAHP will cover early findings and stakeholder perspectives from the soft launch of the statewide Provider Directory Utility (PDU) with panels from DMHC, Health Net and Hill Physicians. (Tuesday, Oct 23 from 1:00pm – 2:15pm)
